Constructed from paper and colored vinyl tape. Fold project uses a regular, two- dimensional shape (the equilateral triangle) to create a model that suggests tension and growth. The final model is similar to a Mobius strip; trying to trace the orange faces all the way around inevitably leads to the other “side,” which is colored sea-foam green, and vice versa.

"Transform," a continuation of "Fold," focuses on exploring the arrangement of platonic solids.  Particularly, this model examines the transformation between a packed state and a disordered form that suggests higher energy. The placement of color hints at the potential for movement, forcing the viewer to confront the relationship between the interior and exterior.
